Following an internship at the Kilimanjaro Christian Medical Centre (KCMC), where we had the privilege of working alongside Sister Anna, we were moved by the impact of her work and the urgent need for continued funding. When external funding ceased in June 2024, the program faced the threat of closure, prompting us to take action. Since our inception, we have launched a GoFundMe campaign to address the immediate funding gap.

Our organization focuses on securing sustainable funding to cover essential costs such as transportation and medication, with a monthly requirement of 380€ (£320). Immediate support is critical to ensure Sister Anna can continue her life-saving work. For example, a monthly supply of paracetamol (100 tablets) costs just 0.86€ (£0.72), a small sum that can make a significant difference in the lives of those who cannot afford it.

Through our efforts, we aim to not only provide immediate assistance but also raise awareness about the healthcare challenges faced by rural Tanzanian communities. We are committed to sustaining and expanding this essential outreach program, ensuring that the most vulnerable continue to receive the care they need.
